In 1919 he was a soldier and political officer of the Hungarian Army of the Red Army. Between 1921 and 1923 he lived in Vienna, Prague and worked with several Hungarian emigrants (including Bernáth Aurel), carving of elephant small sculptures. This small-scale genre was further cultivated in Paris, where he emigrated in 1923. Following an exhibition in Paris in 1928, he was commissioned by the Sèvres Porcelain Factory to design porcelain and biscuit ornaments. In Paris she continued her compulsory fine arts studies and joined progressive art movements. He was a member of the Association of Écrivains et des Artistes Revolutionaires - he worked in the puppet group of the organization. In 1945 he returned to Budapest. In 1946 he organized a fine art school for the workers (XII. District, Buda's free school), and in the meantime commissioned Ságvári relief as a first public commission. Between 1947 and 1949 he dealt with the production and arrangement of high-heels. Between 1949 and 1951 he was a professor at the Csepel Free School and then at the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts. From the beginning of the 1950s he worked as a sculptor and undertook continuous public assignments. Thus, the statues of the statue of the Népstadion were produced, among others, by the monumental monument of the Workers Movement parade of the Kerepesi cemetery (József Körner, Péter László) (1958-1959), an allegorical statue of three figures or the relief monument of Kun Béla on the Ludovika Square (1966). In addition to these assignments, he has a number of small works of Don Quixote (1970), Hortobágy Memorial (1976) and Bugyonnijt (1977). series. The influence of his teachers and intellectual masters (Maillol, Béla Uitz) is felt. His works are characterized by a kind of closeness, coherence and purity. His works are characterized by idealism, formal schematization, an expressive method of patterning, in which the propagating force is dominated primarily by its public works (a typical example of this martyrdom of the Kerepesi cemetery).
