Since 1911, the College of Fine Arts attended the Free School, visited the rajztanárképzőbe between 1913-1914. In 1914, he became a student of Ferenczy's Free School in Baia Mare and has been in his class at the college in 1917 as well. 1920 was expelled from the institution because of the Soviet Republic of event participation and college student groups belonging urgent reforms. In 1924 he moved to Zebegény, the first show featured the newly formed KUT and worked as a teacher at the Downtown Open School. In 1928 he received the state scholarship, founded in Rome in 1937 became a professor at the College of Fine Arts. In the thirties, a member of the Gresham circle took part in the artistic life.
