Painter, graphic artist. He began his studies at the School of Applied Arts, where he was a pupil of Ferenc Helbing and Jenő Haranghy, and then he studied at the College of Fine Arts until 1930-1937. His masters were Oszkár Glatz and Gyula Rudnay, who became assistant professors from the 5th year. From 1947 he was a leader of Baja, Rudnay Free School and Colony of Artists. He regularly exhibited in the galleries of the Gallery, in 1965 he was in Milan and Florence, and in 1974 he had an individual exhibition in Tokyo. His exhibition was held in Győr in 1985. He exhibited at a group exhibition in Győr (1932), in the Ernst Museum (1945, 1946), at the exhibition of the Szolnok Artists' Colony (1966), at the Hungarian National Gallery (1966). Its main genre is the figurative composition, the portrait and act, but also folk-like works. His works include the stylistic features of the Nagybánya and the Great Plain paintings. His works are preserved in the National Gallery, Szolnok and Italian private collections. Between 1953 and 1958 he was the caretaker of the Szolnok Colony. From 1958 he worked in Budapest.
